Plugins

These have been succesfully installed on IE6:

  • Adobe Flash Player 9: is installed automatically
  • Adobe Shockwave Player
  • Adobe Authorware Player
  • Adobe SVG Viewer
    • download here
    • install typing WINEPREFIX=~/.ies4linux/ie6 wine SVGView.exe
  • IE Developer Toolbar -- DOM inspector did not work.
  • Google Adsense Preview
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.05 (reported by Mark A. Davis)
  • Script Debugger -- anybody tried it yet?

Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, Sun Java Runtime 5, Windows Update and Quicktime don’t work. But it is not a problem since we can use all these plugins on Mozilla/Firefox (except Windows Update obviously, but it is useless).

IPIX (install here) does not work anymore. You need MFC40.CAB to make it work.
